[Spoiler]
I'm not going to claim this represented optimal play on either side. But it does illustrate a few limitations of Revenant; it fares poorly against slow, is seriously challenged by raiders, and sucks up a lot of APM.

What would it do that Newton doesn't already do?

Revenant is only strong when it can get away and reload in peace, newton/emp often shut it down completely. Personally useing newtons and later Artemis to shred air in PvE.
For equal cost rev is counterable due to its long reload.
