GBrankczesio doesn't even put down a factory, just builds singu in my base, I move my base and he proceeds to build 3 singus back to back with no space between them. Gets nuked and first thing he does is build another singu next to our antinuke.

Such a good lad, he often makes the game win with this tactic in case you didn't spot it :D.

If people feel that this kind of play is disrespectful to them as teammates, report it. A pattern of behaviour may be modactioned even if a single incident is not.

If the community makes it clear to the moderators that somebody's pattern of behaviour is disrespectful, the moderators will do something about it. I don't think anybody wants to see what would happen if the moderators just went around banning everybody that we think conducts themselves disrespectfully in games.

Even if doing this sometimes wins games, turning the game into a coinflip based on "does the other team happen to find and kill GBrankczesio's singu farm" is liable to feel pretty bad for the other players.

AUrankAdminAquanim it's not actually a coinflip. He always rushes singus and because of his tactic we have tons of metal income. If the singus are exposed, then he should work hard in making them more protected.

If he can't build them in a protected area it means that the frontline failed or the allies can't defend properly.

GBrankczesio did build 3(?) singus or so in a clump in the back. these were in the farthest and most protected spot from the frontlines. also burried if i recall correctly. so i would not see this as a bad example. on the contrary, unknownrankTinySpider 's team did not respont to the nuke thread (or its scouting/discovery, i don't know) in a resolved manner. the nuke hit and killed the unfinished anti along with the singus.

Bottom-left corner would have been about as safe, and further away from friendly infrastructure.

Pretty sure this is not correct.

I'm not saying rushing a singu is awful, but taking it to the extent where you don't ever bother to plop your factory (even to reclaim it) does not seem like good play to me. Nor does rebuilding your singu directly next to the only friendly anti because it happens to be where your caretaker is. A new caretaker doesn't cost that much.

GBrankczesio's singus and gridding got 25000k extra metal for his team by the time the nuke falls. This is by far his most effective play given his computer can barely play a Zero-K lobsterpot like this.
I expect the substantial UI and action lag that afflicted him plays a role in placing things in nearby places.

Note also that all later singus are spread and elevated to protect from fleas.

I'm also a bit amused about the argument about the mex.
That was a 21m/s mex, a very high priority task that if I was in a 1v1 I'd prioritize over pretty much anything that didn't cost me my army/the game.

I think sometimes i see him do high-effort things like cloak snitching, so it's not a 100% guess.

Singu spam is quite powerful in 8v8+. You could argue that a blueblood or a purpler should be able to execute a more powerful strategy more often.

But you'll also observe that if any Giant tier player did optimized ecospam, consistently, instead of pursuing strategies such as "mAkE uNiTs sEnD thEm tO fRoNt" that have a high risk of ending up with at best, casualties and at worst, feeding - then they would also consistently reach Supergiant, simply because this strategy has a significant benefit with no real risk.

And GBrankczesio is ranked precisely Supergiant.
