USrankDregs made the mistake of starting a fight with two redbacks, losing his entire group of locusts, while he saw the commander's movement, USrankDregs just had to get 5 gnats and kill your aggressive commander, after the game would be lost for SErankGodde.

So... it turns out that having the starting mex cluster be 1600 elmos from the nearest expansion makes gunships powerful. Does this mean we can just ban hilly maps from doing this and ignore other gunship changes?

This map does appear to be the only map in-pool (unless my bans are causing me blindspot) that encounters this phenomenon. But with Godde overcoming Gunships, the jury is still out.
