Domis REALLY hate sky/cloaked roaches. A single roach will either heavily impair the domi ball or full wipe it.

I'm on the fence with the Domi. On one hand I'm happy they are nerfed to oblivion, on another I think its cool mechanic that should get reworked onto a strider and give LVeh a true anti-heavy. I had a fun idea in mind but I won't try to sell it yet.

Domis were most degenerate when high in numbers acting as a glass-cannon snowball. If the gun with the unit costed 3000 (strider) and was slower moving it would not have that problem and could be powered up in other ways - like making it tanky; increasing capture speed. 3000 cost for a tanky 1.5 domi gun still does not sound like a good deal, so adding another trick to it like drones from old funnelweb might be a good idea. Expendable damage drones was a poor design, but expendable support only drones like construction (heal/reclaim) or disruptor (slow) drones might not be.

Strider Dominatrix, But Also With Repair Or Disruptor Drones

Reef's model has no turrets to accomodate a capture beam. It does, however, have four drone bays and two landing pads. If you want a strider for piracy on the high seas, Reef just isn't it.

(unless you go proper radical and give Reef capture drones for max cancer, every Reef being a domi-spawner!)

Do capture drones work better than dominatrix? Add a caveat that the drone in control of the unit now has to stay tethered to the captured unit. Then capture becomes more insta death, the unit will be Ctrl ded more often, and aa counters capture. There's also a theoretical limit on the number of capped units based on the number of drones.
