In this game 1 placeholder made dante not move...1 PLACEHOLDER. Can they really even make a detriment stop ?
Because dante didnt move they could stun it with silo :(

One placeholder doesnt even stop a reaper, so something must be wrong with dante weight...

Every "heavy" unit can break free from placeholder grasp including but not limited to: Dante, Reaper, Goliath, Sumo, Grizzly. Also blackholes don't stack. They get slowed down though as they escape the gravity field thus propably that dante got itself stunned by shockleys.

I killed 3 level 2-3 nubmorphcoms within 5 minutes of the game with jsut one Placeholder + jack, on banana valley few days ago.

Physics is funny. One Placeholder should not stop a Detriment but with Dante it will be a bit random.

There you go. BTW, I didn't know that black holes create craters ;o

We need to give this on Singu death, instead of explosion. Only 10 times bigger, and 100 times stronger, with a reversed Blackhole effect at the very end. Instead of exploding it will suck everything, and then throw it all over the map. Sounds fun.

lol, I experimented with that in sandbox. If you have enough placeholders you can practically convert a comm into an air unit. :P I use them with rockos because they amplify the rocko's rioty-ness and nearly remove any risk of taking damage in return.

Three placeholders can permanately out goliaths due to the crater. Or something like that. Now if only someone did pure placeholder spam and fired 50 of them on a goliath...

All it takes to stop a ground unit's independent is to lift it off the ground.

Newton can take advantage of this if you can get it into a shallow ditch, so it always ends up firing "upwards" into enemy units.

Placeholder can end up making any unit be picked up (although not always kept) if the ground below the unit drops enough from the cratering effect or from some other terraforming action.
