In big teams, players are thrown together and given a mutual goal (winning). However, players differ in many respects in how they go about achieving this goal. One such respect is the degree to which on is altruistic as opposed to selfish, and another is the degree to which certain things are expected from their team-mates.

Some players demand cooperation - "give me roachs/Valkyrie/worker". I even had a player once demand I build them an eraser despite it being available to all facs, because I could produce it in the factory as opposed to morphing it.

Some players are insanely uncooperative, spamming storage in the back corner while morphing their com and hoovering up all the reclaim.

There are many reasons for sharing and not sharing. I'd like to socially construct a system by which players who are cooperative are acknowledged and rewarded. This game doesn't have enough capitalism anymore.

So this thread serves three purposes:

1) - Give your exchange rates.

2) - Acknowledge reciprocative players so that these players will benefit more from their selflessness.

3) - Pacts of cooperation.

If I am air or ground, come mid-game I want access to the other type of worker. If I'm ground I want cranes, and if I'm air I want something that doesn't die to swift.

I will exchange one for one regardless of whether I am air/ground (I will give you a crane for a standard worker, regardless of cost, and expect the same). I will also exchange two cranes for three standard workers (and vice versa).

I will exchange one swift for one standard worker (and vice versa).

I will provide workers or energy free for anyone who loses their BP/worker, so long as they agree in this thread to do the same for me.

I've got to get back to work, so I'll likely come back and add more when I get home. Thoughts?

Why would ground players want Cranes? I understand that air players want ground couns and would like other players to build most things (including BP) because buildpower is more cost efficient for them.

when goin blastshit trolling on big map i need perpetual scouting from planez teammate :3 jst fucking sucrifice those 1 swift every 1-2 min - and soon theyll have -1... no -2... hey see.. -3 coms at their side! >_<
... coz gs fac has no fast scout - gnat is too slow

and u know what about "eco guys"... if u r pro and hear "im noob ill just go eco" - get profit of him/her - focus on micro n making units n strategic stuff and jst guide ecoguy to share u E structures and u win... coz other team has players who can only shit on noobs :>

oh Skasi, ground player would wann cranes to build own wind farm over there fukin high he cant climb up with his fatty slow convicts :D ...also radars... is it, SnuggleBass? other reason i cant see

The crane is for managing eco quickly. Other cons are slow and tend to get jammed while connecting grid, and have difficulty linking over cliffs or through water. They're also very good at scooping up isolated reclaim like rocks or dead planes, and for rebuilding mex in re-secured areas. Nothing game breaking, they're just very convenient to have at least one of.

Speaking of which, Skasi gave me a builder and a factory yesterday when I lost everything to skuttle. Good guy Skasi. I will have no reservation about doing the same for him, and would encourage others to hold this same attitude.

If I'm gunships and someone wants valkyries I will give them to them at the start of the game for an equal or greater worth of ground workers later in the game.

If you're 1800+ and you're on the frontline while I eco, I will give you the energy structures to support your initial income (tell me to at start of the game), so long as you spend that income on taking/holding territory and mex.

If you lose your energy and/or BP, I'll lend you a basic commander until you're back on your feet if you're 1600+.

I agree with everything, but for now I would greatly appreciate any easy way to fix the "please can I have a con"...

Too many times it happens there are players with no ability to build (fac/con/comm) and other players with idle workers. Would like to have a "popup" saying "Player X(elo Y) has no cons, do you want to share one idle comm"? Should be as easy as 1 click, and visible (but not intrusive)...

Agreed FRrankmalric, I often don't notice calls for builders - especially in 10v10+s where people spam so much that I stop paying attention to the chat, otherwise I wouldn't have any time to actually play. The collective mind widget might help, but is probably not exactly what I want for random clusterfuck games.
