Amphs are much stronger option than LV on this map, IMO. I'm surprised that RUrankAdminikinz didn't take all mexes in the area when he forced AUrankAdminAquanim into the ravagers/slashers. Also GS switch is so standard on such maps that one can blindly spam few tridents in the anticipation of enemy's rapiers/banshees/brawlers.

Here is the replay of the same factories matchup to support the above: Multiplayer B377037 2 on Isle of Grief 0.2

Late game was all AUrankAdminAquanim 's, however RUrankAdminikinz should have taken him out earlier.

I'm somewhat legitimately confused as for the low prevalence of amph mirrors on this map. I'd have expected the current performance of amphs on maps like Catcher, combined with the fringe benefit of a speed boost, to be decisive.

I like the current texture. If I'd prettify the map, I'd do it by adding features, adding/tweaking detailtextures, and stuff like that. I'd also change the water to a more bluish tinge to make it super clear which parts have water, and because I like blue water.

The features wouldn't have to be flowers to make the map prettier, I'd reckon dead trees and rocks would suffice well. Seth's Ravine has some good dead tree models iirc.

Generally, recent additions to Spring Features have a lot of desert/barren features.

You can browse them by "playing" Akilon 15 (because it's not really playable due to lolrocks).

Oh, i think the eldritch teeth might fit here somewhat, too.

Amphibs, hovers, and ships are not slowed down by shallow water. Non-amphibious ground units are, so "wet" factories get a comparative speed boost in these areas.
