This page describe the changes I made against Zero-K, always latest version


Introduction



Zero-K Raider is a mod based on Zero-K. Archl had this idea because he do not like assault unit, turret tower and shield spam.

So he removed them all. Previous Assault unit convert to Battle Unit or Range Support; riot gain more speed, range, and get price raised. Lots of balanced changes list below.

==Building==

===Eco/Factory===

Solar Collector→armsolar: 60M HP→400 (considering 380). Faster start.

Factory: HP→3500. Single TacNuke beaten.


===Turret===

Once to weaken the turrets. But now get to keep them tougher in short range and more expensive.

Stardust: HP 1500→2000. →Razor's Kiss, 1 rank; →DoomsDay Machine, 3 rank.

Heavy Laser Tower: was the Turret to nerf, →10 Linked Energy Grid (might get its range down to 600)

Light Laser Tower: 8 per shot 0.08s reload, →100M. →Heavy Laser Tower.

Missile Tower: 80M→100M,Damage 120,1s reload, range 650. →HackSaw. Turn-Rate 60000→8000.

Flak: 500M→450M cost and 2600HP.(planned) Make it cheaper so more people will use it.

Chainsaw: 900M→850M, 2250HP, 500 per shot, 2.5s reload, TurnRate 55000→5500

Hacksaw: planned(320M cost, 850 range too short not good as spread defense)

==Units==

Massive Changes upon units, mainly the light bots and vehicle. Hardly balance but still fun.

===Cloaky Bot Factory===

Glavies: 65M→100M, jumpjet 0.5s reload, length 500, height 150.

Warrior: 220M→240M speed 1.71→2.01, range 270→310, reload time 0.52→0.5, AoE 64→48, morph to Razorback, rank 3, at a cost 12/s

Zeus: 350M→250M, HP 2400→1200

Recotor: Morph to spherecloaker

Hammer: 130M→140M, Damage 150→200(planned change 180)

Sniper: 700M→850M, Damage 2300, 25seconds, (planned change 180, moving accuracy 300, cloak cost 2/8)

===Shield Bot Factory===

the personal shield remains.

Thug: weapon shotgun replace, same effect to commander's, range 320, may nerf bit later, HP 650, shield weaker

===Vehicle===

Leveler: Speed 2.7, range 320

Ravager: 250M→350M, Speed 2.45, range 570, damage 450, accuracy 350, moving-accuracy 700, reload 9s, AoE 64, 1850HP→800HP. →Reaper or →Pillager.

Missile Truck: 45 per shot 1s reload, morph to Merl or Banisher.

Merl: Damage 850, flight/reload time 14, HP 600.


===Tank===

Panther: damage 45, reload 0.5, EMP 200.

Reaper: HP 2500, Accuracy 500, Range 595, damage 325.

Golitach: 2200M, HP 6000, Speed 1.6, range 650


===Spider===

Spiderassault: HP→1000, 60 per shot per sec.

Flea: laser→lightning: range 140→130, 8 EMP+ 4 damage, 0.25s reload.

===Jumpjet===

Sumo: 12500HP→8500HP.

Jack: 5000HP→1800HP, no morph. leap height 60, reload 5s, speed5, length 500. speed 1.8→1.65.

Slowmort: lose damage on range.
