Carrying Aspis and eraser with gunships and surfboards

If a valkryie, vindicator, or surfboard, carries an Aspis or eraser, their area of effect shield/cloaking power should still be active even in the air.
On a scale of one to ten, with ten being a good idea, how good of an idea is this?

I guess you are right, the eraser would be too powerful.
