This AI from spring, called RAI is something I'm playing against. However, I don't know anything about said AI.

Obviously it's an AI, but because I've never played against it, I don't know what it does/it likes to do? I'll take it this AI is pretty old, and may not be upgraded

Can anyone fill me in on details please? (Developer,Source code,Fav fac)

Don't play against any AI which wasn't made for recent versions of ZK.
That includes RAI, KAIK, HughAI, E323AI and AAI.

RAI is a very old AI that has been compatible with really old versions of ZK thus why it works with ZK at all. But other than that it is even stiupider than CAI is.

Just play against CAI, its so much better and more fair than RAI is.

It's a relic from the past. [Below is from observation]

Basically it does random (unfeasible) crap in ZK. Mostly it starts with an Athena and spams units until it has a massive army. It also attempts to build random super units (EG: DRP/Zenith/DDM/Behe/Bertha) in its base (about 3-8 at a time + anti). However it will split its metal so thinly that these units will rarely, if ever, be finished. Oh and any Behes/base DDMs will likely be unpowered. If it gets gunships/air it will build up for 1-3hours before reaching the attack size it wants. When it does attack, it sends a shitstorm of epic proportions. Mostly because ZK units are effectively more expensive/stronger (in proportion to income) than BA units. However, effectively it just "banks" units indefinitely, if it manages to builds them off it's extremely split economy.

Recommend to use it as a support AI. (Or not use it at all)

KAIK as I recall crashes ZK for its host. So you can't play with it. Was either that or AAI.

Edit: Forgot about the DDMs/Behes being unpowered.

Cool. AAI crashes ZK.
I'll use for my first 1v2 Ai.

Anyone know what source code this is from? I would like to use it as a template for my own projects.

It is a part of Spring source code currently.

Spring doesn't have any sort of package management and updating for AI. Instead, everyone who makes an AI can include their AI in every spring build, provided they jump through some engine-dev related hoops. This is why the engine comes with many AIs that don't work with ZK.

And it takes a lot of time to make an AI?
