The topic says it all: the Shadowfury333 content should be displayed somewhere visible on the http://zero-k.info website.

It is well produced e-sport material, there is a great wealth of it built up and this kind of thing is important for its ability to inspire and motivate a competitive scene - especially if we are expecting a lot of new players. It would be good to show them from the moment go that this is a finely balanced competitive game, as well as providing what are essentially 'lets play' videos for people who prefer that form of learning.

And in the forum are replay threads and links, but I mean there should be something big and obvious. Players browsing the site for the first time should have a good chance of noticing we have a casted competitive scene.

Big and obivious things are as one of Zk dev saying is 'confusing'. We could make ZK page like North Korea web pages. :D :D

1more move to steampush!

This one is one of the best ideas yet, besides buff Tremor.

I also think we need video tutorials for those newbs who don't want to see a 30 minute video on how they make things

And by the way hide rrplay "threads" from the main forum page, make them appear in spefific subforum only, plox.
They make them forum very blurry and give me (and probly notnobly me) a hard time to find actual threads.

I agree, put the casts somewhere more prominent.

Actually i find the argument "we don´t need guides or a 30-min video because noone reads/watches it" not very convincing.
I myself read the old advanced unit-guide and was very thankful to get a list of unit-counters and how to use specific units. I mean, how high is the percentage of people in general reading books about coding or let´s say composing? Should be quite low.... Does that mean they are useless? Definitely not. I know that such things don´t have the highest priority right now and thats okay, but refusing to make them AT ALL is not a good idea in my opinion, because a complicated and hard to learn game like Zero-K is obviously in need of detailed explanation for beginners. Also, if i have to tell people those things in chat, AT THE END THEY WILL HAVE TO READ IT ANYWAY.

Front/home page would be a good idea. I find it super frustrating when a game website doesn't have videos showing you what real/non-trailer gameplay is like.

I liked old 'wip' unit guide who explains each unit and gives some sight about limited strategy about that unit in easy language. Also cons and pros about that unit. That guide was best part of entire ZK manuals and teach me more then all tutorials.

A comprehensive video tutorial tends to be more informative than someone playing a match. Granted, playing a match will let you see what it's actually like to fight out there, and will give a lot of people great ideas on how to play, but for more specific information, or a list of moves you can do, a comprehensive/indepth video tutorial tends to cover more topics, or be more focused on a specific playstyle/factory, since plays normally have facswap which cuts the focus

Actually Katas, I was talking about video tutorials for those people who dont want to watch letsplay or those that need a more indepth view

Meh, tutorials are boring.
Good wiki is something I like much more than searching through 2000 boring tutorial videos. You can just google what you want to discover.

We need all the options really.

Good wiki
Tutorial videos
Indepth analysis
Letsplay ZK
Unit analysis

Normally, in most games you find a lot of these, especially in youtube.
Quite a lot of them are letsplays with analysis mixed in, since that is a lot easier than making an indepth guide, especially if the subject tends to be large
