Issues with Iris

I have seen two strange things with Iris, probably bugs, very easy to reproduce:

1. if you set a group of unit to guard Iris, Iris will then stop every 2 meters (with a hourglass icon) when asked to move. To circumvent this, you can press S a couple of times and then Iris gets his normal behavior back.

2. when a unit is under the Iris area, it is set to hold fire, which is intended. However, when the unit is set manually to free fire, while within the cloaked area, it will stay this way only for a moment, returning then to hold fire, which is annoying.

2. Disable the "Cloak fire state" widget if you are playing with teammates who put cloakers in bad positions. (or if you want your units to fire from cloak)

There's probably a setting for that as well, which will only take you 10 minutes to find while the battle continues

There is a widget called Cloaker Guard which implements behaviour 1. It makes Iris wait for stragglers before moving. It sets guarding units to hold fire and automatically sets them to fire at will when you tell them to stop following the Iris (by issuing any command). It also makes the units move to just behind the Iris as the normal guard leash distance is longer than optimal. This widget is pretty old, I don't know whether it has settings.

This widget must be bugged because I remember having to put units on fire at will every time I order them to attack.

Normal gard distance seems ok. In any case, in connection to behaviour 2, we can also use ctrl-move to group units together and have the desired outcome.

renames really fool me everytime. it is becoming a running gag to throw in any names and end up saying designated AA-plane (as describing it by unit class) instead on mumble.
