The regenerating riot raider really needed to be stronger, nothing ever wrong with regenerating riot raiders. It's not like Sigero did the spam 3 koda to instagib Scorchers before this or anything, you know

The real thing I do is lag. It's my life. I've always lived with lag. I should rename myself to __l_ag

I think kodachi is now good raider on par with glavies, but still he is not as versatile as they are, main weakness is lack of dps.

RUrankivand ha, you're definitely way better at detecting when opinions were influenced by bitterness when it's not you!
(this is a correct detection and also this game is not a good example of rover counterplay to koda)

@zenfur a raider on par with glaives that also mass-murders glaives and scorchers while hiding behind an unraidable con. This is the good old raider-riot game that Dagger did (except with Welders) Maybe i should just skip to amphs whose riot raider has enough range to raid the riot con. But they're slow.

Overall, i feel that way too many raiders in ZK now have ripper sidearms while not being owled.

I thought to list just the aoe-capable raiders in current ZK.

Koda. More AoE than Ripper, massive alpha, regeneration, true raider speed, fire damage. A bit low dps makes it bad at killing commanders. But for cost, they aren't that much worse than Rippers, and much faster. You get 3 koda for one Ogre, why make Ogre at all?

Pyro. Decent aoe, range, fire, jump. Poking it with light raiders is suicide by DoT, continuous engagement is often suicide by kiting. Does quad damage to large units. Only downsides is that it counters itself in numbers (unlike koda, which self-synergizes like a boss) and being expensive.

Archer. Long-range, some AoE. Low dps vs statics, expensive and slow, but that range! It's probably the best raider for killing Welders. Self-synergizes into a Newton array capable of throwing heavy units into pits of doom.

Dagger. Maybe not as powerful vs other raiders as it used to be, but it still gets some AoE with alpha on top.

Corsair: the assault-riot-raider of the seas! Raider speed! Shotgun splash! Almost-assault health! The nerf probably hurt it a bit, but it gets to keep the AoE still.

I'm really not sure whether this is better or worse than the riot skirmisher situation.
