Zenfur 5 years ago Hello, I always have problems browsing maps (especially in game) - could we be able to add custom tags to maps? Like "lava", "prevalent water", "hills", "metal rich", "scripted", "rising lava", "2v2", "1v1", "4v4", "8v8", "metal reclaim", "matchmaker" etc. Tags could be added/voted for by anyone, and few most "upvoted" tags would show up (not too far from average voted one). About map browsing I also had idea to start JS project to display 3d map models with different textures online (like height, metal. +0 / -0
fenrave 5 years ago Yeah what this guy said, user tags can be very helpful when it comes to searching up specific type of maps without having to fine tune the search settings so you can only find the maps you weren't looking for. Steam has a similar system, i believe that could also help with maps. A minor problem would be people just spamming random tags that are either memes or clearly what the map isn't, it happens on steam but it isn't necessarily an issue(more or less hilarious, especially when garfield kart is a psycological thriller). +0 / -0
