Puppies and cost efficiency

So I decided to make a list comparing the metal cost and damage of puppies compared to metal cost and health of the rest of the unit cast to see, whether puppies can make cost effective trade in metal cost regardless of actual units lost when trying to take out an unit with army of puppies (such as trying to assault Dante with puppy horde).

As can be seen, most of the time Puppies will be cost effective as long as they don't have any losses when performing their attack, such as attacking stunned enemy, but there is few surprises such as Ronin resulting in negative cost efficiency simply because they have 420 health rather than 410 health, making them need 2 puppies to die. I guess I could also include turrets, gunships, planes and striders, but for now I am too tired to write another wall of text.

Thanks for providing this valuable reference. Although they can be cost effective in this way, please also consider that a target destroyed by a puppy will not leave metal behind - the benefit of killing by other means. It's considerable tradeoff.

Fencer is missing from the list, though despite what theoretical value it comes out at, fencer is going to conduct mass beastiality upon puppies. Perhaps you could further refine the list down to units it's practically viable to attack using puppies.

The puppies also don't really leave wreckages.

A target killed with slightly more Puppies than it took to win the engagement will be converted to Puppies - marginal cases like 100% efficiency can be quite decided by this if the dogs are allowed to feast on the dead.

Oh, I indeed may have done some mishaphs when creating this list, such as missing Fencer. It took some time to write down and by the time I had finished making it, I was too exhausted to analyse it any further myself although I was aware that puppies will be able to turn the scrap from the defeated units into more puppies and deny metal.
