Ultimatum frequently misses even slow targets (Dante) moving perpendicular. It has no target leading?

It is using a weird legacy weapon type, so that may well be the case.

Ultimatum does have no target leading, that's what makes it bad against fleas, glaives, and even slower small stuff like scallops and reavers. Com D-Gun has the same issues.

d-gun com can easily shoot nowhere as well
When I'm using dgun I'm trying to put camera in an angle where I'm certain it will go thru the unit... and not shoot somewhere midair

Another common issue if u don't change camera angle is the moment u try to press FIRE enemy swifts blob fly over your head...
With dgun troll com this can easily be the end of you :D

Are there any plans to change this?

It would be nice to fix it eventually. This task would involve replacing the Ultimatum weapon with a LaserCannon and then changing the effects to make its behaviour and visuals match the current weapon. It would be a reasonable task for anyone to attempt.

Wait, why a laser cannon when it's basically a buffed gauss cannon? Does that even work? I mean why can't the current wep use target leading?

AUrankAdminGoogleFrog because of the weapon type ultimatum sometimes gives a huge lag spike when hitting the ground. It has this anti- terraform property that when fired it lowers the frame rates to hell.
I suggest changing the ultimate weapon to a penetrating small burst laser. This way we remove the lag issues and also the misfire chance.

please allow ulti to miss atleast sometimes vs fast targets.. it takes skill to use it at a good time.. target leading makes more sense then hit-scan instant kill or it will become far stronger vs its counters and even groups of glave may struggle.
