land units under water
recently, i witnessed
Zenfur
lobbing dominatices in sea (
B826173
28 on
Small Supreme Battlefield V2
). they can attack when submerged and takeover your precious ships (claymore hardcounters them but nobody knows this!). i also know, skuttle jump is disabled under water. can someone share experiences or lay out the rules how these things should work?

Generally, pure land units can't do much underwater. Here, I think the exception was a "doms have subs" joke:

You mean that someone implemented an exploit as a joke and innocently though nobody would figure out how to exploit it?

Also, all melee units can shoot their weapons underwater.
Additionally, Starlight and Zenith, if for some reason they end up underwater, have no problem shooting from that situation.
(You can then throw orbital jacks at them to attack them using the "melee works underwater" rule)
