Big metal excess at start, probably should have made Conjurer to assist factory and to eventually make Caretaker to lower excess.

Really poor trades at start, with 3x more value lost at the 8minute mark.
Good metal overdrive, managed to connect my economy. Better raids where I pushed into Lotus rather than Scorcher and killed mex would have been better than simply losing Glaives.

The 10 minute mark was the beginning of the end for USrankanger_birb, as I pushed his artillery spam back.
Lots of useless workers. Probably should have used them to build eco, reclaim, make field hospital etc...

At the 16 minute mark, USrankanger_birb had lost almost twice my value lost.

A question: Besides Wyvern spam, what else could I have done to remove USrankanger_birb's Dominatrix? I tried Glaive rush, but they could get turned before I could kill off the domis. Phantoms could remove them, but slowly.
I could have used cloaked imps in order to stun them as well.

Also, how effective were those retreat zones? Looking at my value lost/killed, I think keeping the Knights alive was a very useful role of the retreat zones, but I would be interested in your thoughts on those zones.

I use retreat zones when I'm playing against ai and can't afford/don't want to micro a front. I have some jump bots default set to 60% to make my life easier microing retreat. In a recent arena mod game I did use retreat on knights to keep them alive, but when I do that it's often a big micro sink toggleing retreat state. I prefer microing my units by hand so I can push the envelope as far as I like, but it's not feasible at scale.

I find retreat zones to field hospitals as a stress-free way to ensure units stay alive, but I would go into settings and change the retreat state for each unit, as 'retreating' constructors are a real pain to manage.
