To make games less porcy: make all defences require minimal grid. Like 2e power requirement for llt, so you can run a tiny porc fortress with a single solar.
This will delay onset of porc (requiring that "rush to middle and porc" strategy to also create power support there), make porc easier to disrupt, and economy will likely either be placed in more vulnerable positions (to fuel the porc), or heavily centralized with vulnerable pylon grid extending everywhere to be sniped, leading to massive cascading grid failures :P
