Where can I download Zero-K's CAI AI bot for local single-player mode?

I would like to download it to test it, and, perhaps, modify it, if I can have the source files and some advice on it.

Anyway, do tell. I would like to assign it as a unit-AI to some units, to have them go off on their own.

CAI is just a gadget and an entry in LuaAI.lua. To modify it you have to get the source and commit changes. http://code.google.com/p/zero-k/wiki/Developing

If you don't want to modify CAI and instead want to make some unit AI for players to use you should make a widget. It can be based on CAI and in theory CAI could be a widget.

Hm. I would be surprised if I was the first to think of this.

Has anyone else mentioned training themselves a pet RAI or CAI to use as a unit AI?

What do you mean by the fight command?

Is that "A"?

A...Attack
F...Fight

fight command makes the unit (depending on its movement state i guess) to engage enemies on its path. the closest enemy is selected as target and the unit is trying to keep its maximum weapon range to this target. this means it is moving. also its adapting its position continuously relative to the position of the selected target.

GAH.

And all this time I had been using P to attack things.

YEARS.

Please respond, if you know more such tricks, to the Zero-K secrets thread. Or have you already seen it?

Lol what? You seriously didn't use the fight command?

Well, that much about the "make a the fight command" argument. *ducks*
