Can't play

Hello Zero-K Community,

I wish to play this game (along with others) but every time I start a game it stays black. It will make noises and play music, but nothing will appear visually.
After every time, I Alt-Tab'ed out to see if it was not responding. it seemed fine, so I went back into the game. This time, I could see part of the map, but it was broken and looked like half of it fell 10ft. What is going on and what will fix this?

And what I meant is that I cannot do anything
Literally nothing affects the screen. And just 45 seconds ago, a weird gray geometric shape split the screen
What I am saying is that it is broken and cannot be played.

EDIT: ALso I have checked my drivers and they are indeed up to date, and my computer is decently strong so I dont think graphics are an issue (well they are, but not in that sense)

which brand of graphics do you have?
Intel is known to be ok with videos but nortiously bad for video games. some AMD chips also have strange quirks even if they work fine for other applications.

interesting. I have the same thing with some applications, where restarting fixes the problem sometimes(at least,until I run something intensive like Blender)
