Scientists doing science have recreated the conditions for the birth of the ZK organism in a laboratory.
This video shows that the seemingly stable "BA47" (scientific name Balanced Annihilation) mutates into the very short-lived "Community Annihilation" organism. This stage is incredibly brief as it immediately transforms into a "Complete Annihilation." This all happens within the first 8 seconds! Then there is a long maturing process of just over three years (condensed in this video) as the organism thrives into a playable game. A couple of years after that it becomes a ZK and bursts onto the world wide web.
