I don't like textures here:
1) People don't realize lava is lava (my opponent said that in chat after the game)
2) I can't tell if those things, separating top/bottom parts from the middle, are ditches or ridges

Regarding the features as I've also mentioned on spring forums I'll welcome any improvements/replacements to the crystal tree. Crystal features are niche and I'm limited to a few.

I agree the lava texture could be darker, but given the amorphous and hostile look it has I don't really see how people could confuse it with water. Perhaps lavasplosions could stand out more.
