The Hunters mixed in with Cutters and eventual transition to a few Corsairs in @Kingstad's game seemed to work better than the pure Cutter spam into facswitch in this game. There was a point in this game at about 4:00 where the Ship player seemed to be ahead on economy and about even on army size, and could have made some such transition at or before this time.

Hunters seem unintuitive against Hover but compared to other units in their role they substantially out-DPS both Cutter and Dagger (even after accounting for how much they overkill Dagger).

The
matchup
seems
to
me
like
it
has
some
play
for
both
sides
on
the
basis
of
these
games,
although
in
the
long
run
it's
possible
it
will
be
solved.

I
suspect
that
even
if
one
side
has
an
advantage,
the
other
side
has
the
capability
to
punish
any
imprecise
play.
