Well his commander was idle for quite a while after producing the first mex. Glaives were idle too, for a long time. The five Glaives were a waste of metal as they were complete at 0:40 and none of them did anything until 1:25, by which point Godde had prepared an efficient counter.

Godde just didn't waste any time so had an easy economic lead after the first few minutes. His units were generally moving somewhere purposefully.
