I'd really like a developer explaination of how could I possibly have long 3 FPS lag spikes during this game. At one point, I even lagged 10 secs behind the server.

Also, game is very worth watching, it's the pinnacle of 1v1 absurdity.

Lots of specs maybe? I usually get lags when people join/leave, even specs.

The thing is, I dont remember getting serious lag in any 1v1 game before. Here, I got lag like in the lategame of a 14v14 clustergame on a high metal map.

Quite absurd. Looks like CZrankpsaniac didn't realize how insane the overdriven supermexes are compared to normal ones.
USrankAthorgo on the other hand, doesn't understand raiding and how to punish a naked expand. He also didn't realize how big CZrankpsaniac's holdings were and that he couldn't rest after breaking CZrankpsaniac's main base.

You're probably using an unsupported player list widget.

Idk about snoke, but the only always visible playerlist I use (and would recommend for minimal lag) is the engine playerlist enabled with /info.

But don't take my word for it being the cause of trouble, it's probably something entirely else. Usually it only stutters when players change, not lead to multiple seconds of lag.

could be, i switched to the deluxe one

The deluxe player list is horribly laggy as it recreates itself every time something about a player changes. With many spectators or players it can get ridiculous. This is why I do not support it.

The default playerlist does something similar (there are no good playerlists) but it shows a lot less information and spectators are always relegated to a tooltip.
