guys like everyone here we all like tournaments but it's such a shame that we only get one. lets not forget shaman god bless his soul had the ability and wits to make tournaments effective and of course he was a pain in the ass. but he was good guy ;D. but now that he is gone tournaments in zero-k won't be the same but lets not make his sacrifice be in vain ;-;. i propose seriously making a new concept of tournaments here in zero-k.
1. one of the promblems is time not everyone has time for tournaments been in saturday or sunday. then how about we make time for the players. what i propose is that in the week here's a chart i made we have a timetable like this 2 pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm, 10pm, 12pm, 2am, 4am, 6am, 8am, 10am, 12am and organize 1 vs 1 in this time table i created. here is an image pls ignore the written tried to explain on my drawingpad but it's hard. but the chart is an explaination of it.

this chart doens't mean make a moderator work all day no but more easier and simpler to organize a tournament. becuase really guys newcomers they don't understand the 14:00 utc. when i saw this first i didn't know what utc and not everyone in china and australia can play each other with mexico south america and usa. so instead of forcing everyone to one day in saturday and sunday. we make tournament on the daily notion and time date everyone can agree on. for instance like in the week calendar two players agree to fight each other at 2 p.m. and they talk to a moderator to add them to the weekly tournament and the final is going to be either sunday or saturday on both parts agreeing to play and the moderator adds their names and they fight the moderator keeps track and penalty if one doens't appear and the one that did apear wins on default or reminder too. the moderator doens't need to watch he adds the names in a piece of paper and after the play. he adds the anmes for the next one until saturday where all tose who participated play the one with must wins.

now u can have 8 players for each tournament and if more players sign up u can make 2 or 3 tournaments depending the players and how the moderators adapt. in each week tournametns wil have newcomers playing this part of the strategy. so if players and newcomers get to finals or semi finals they get a gold coin or bronze medal whatever they like. that way newcomers get a chance to win things and don't get pummeled by more experience players and leave later. why this system becuase with this system u can add a new ladder of ranking. with the finals each week u can make newcomers win and choose either to fight in special battle where u can only pick air factory and win only by it and be disqualified if u use other units or factories in finals. u can also make the finals about 1 vs1 but wiht only commanders. or sorry i forgot u can make the tournaments about this one tournaments has only air factories and air units and another tournaments has 1 vs 1 with commanderbots and all the matches are like that. what people can agree on. tournaments of one thing now with tournaments players join and win. and u can add a new ladder with all this.
