I find it very annoying I can't issue attack orders against drones manually. Is this an intentional design decision or not?

Edited: Literally said the opposite of what I meant when I first posted this.

Wait you can? I thought you couldn't. I think it would be good to be able to issue attack commands on them.

Try gunships vs drones, since the raider update drones have a very hard time with those high flying gunships.
