An all-terrain skirmisher that can climb to difficult-to-reach locations and launch arcing volleys of rockets. It fires a burst of three rockets at a single target. It has good vision and more range than other skirmishers, but it is slow to move across distances and the rockets it fires are relatively inaccurate.

An all terrain missile launching unit. Climb walls with this spider walker and take your enemy by surprise. The unguided rockets cannot hit a rapidly jinking target, but they have a fairly long range.

In its [[Unit_classes#Skirmisher|Skirmisher]] role, the {{PAGENAME}} is put in a bad position when enemy units get close. A {{PAGENAME}} on its own is fragile and should be escorted by other spiders, firing from range while the escort keeps the enemy at a safe distance. Because of the rocket spread, the {{PAGENAME}} works well against enemy unit groups, as each rocket is more likely to hit something. A single volley from a {{PAGENAME}} will typically miss a rapidly jinking target, but as the number of Recluses grow, it quickly becomes unrealistic for a target to avoid damage entirely.

Like all skirmisher units, if a unit gets close, the skirmisher is put in a bad position as it will have a problem getting the unit killed. The Recluse's 3 rocket volley is very inaccurate, but quite strong, so it should be grouped up to fire more rockets and take out more units. Because of the rocket spread, enemy unit groups are much easier to take out, as the rockets have a larger chance to hit them. The Recluse should be paired with other spiders, and attack from the distance while your escorts close range with the enemy, or kite the enemy along with your escorts.
