Razors are good against banshees. The issue talked about is whether they're out-scaled on large maps.

Your opening was strange. You bunkered up to protect your four mex, and then snuck two additional mex. But you could have just bunkered up your initial eight without taking any risks and been in a superior economic position. Sneaking expansions isn't even a payoff if you don't get some map control out of it, it's just inefficient. Building two additional workers, walking across to the middle with both, and then building with 5 BP is just worse than walking your com down a ledge and building two mex with 10. It also required more defenses to be spread out.

You mention being in a better position. I haven't watched the replay, but I think if you do you'll find that you were actually behind after the first couple minutes. This is expected in cloak vs. amphib, but it was exacerbated by the corner plays.

These groan worthy matchups are why cloak is weak, on top of having no good matchups to counteract this. Currently their ceiling is average, and their floor is abysmal. Hopefully the warrior buffs bring them up some.

after the banshee vs banshee suicide (which was strange, you were sitting just outside your llt range too) i was wondering where your tridents were. and i thought the expansion to the corners was clever but just had no follow-through, you needed to fill in the sides as well to actually pull ahead in metal
