If I would have made like 3 fleas from the start i would propably have lived. The problem is that i lost all my income when my com got stunned.

Yeah I played against this recently and had a ton of fleas, so I managed to beat the Gnats, but only just.

Doing it with Glaives or worse, bandits, makes it much harder with the extra cost, if you're lucky enough to have built them.

I don't mind gunship rushes, I wish the old BD rush were more viable, but a full-stun all-or nothing rush is probably too much.

It only works against eco build orders (which I thought godde might use because of close mex spots) and it only works once.

Me and godde were playing loser chooses map, so the plan was win this, lose on the map of goddes choice then swing back on my fave map, avalanche.. except then I lost :P

Turrets would easily beat this.

A 3-missile burst from a MT will kill 1 gnat and heavily wound 1 other gnat.

Sooo...

What kind of turrets and how many are you talking here to be effective?

An LLT or Defender. If the attacking Gnats have to split their attention you have a much better chance of defending.

Don't ever split their attention. Use them in a group to stun something fast, then leave 1 to keep it permanently stunned.

That's probably the 'broken' mechanic; 1 gnat can keep something infinitely stunned.

I can't find the game, but I played against this and there were so many gnats that my dozen or so fleas were only just able to beat it. I just had more fleas than he had gnats, so he couldn't keep everything stunned.

LLT's go down in a couple of hits, so it's really quite easy to stun them and move on to the comm.
