Time Aware Lobby Request

I want the lobby mouseover of players to do this for you:



Please implement this.

Russia spans 11 time zones. It would need to check more than just the country which could be a bit more complicated.

Some people use proxies which report wrong location (fireman often has Seychelles flag or somesuch).

Time can also be approximated pretty easily (USA -> EU -> OZ -> USA are each ~+8h apart, interpolate positions of everything else from these) which is enough for most practical purposes; what would be your use case?

Sprung it doesn't need to be accurate to the timezone, and it should not appear to their own mouseover! The purpose of this would be to help players be more aware of the global nature of their fellow players, and easily be considerate of what may be the middle of the afternoon for them may be the middle of the night for another player. Like I am posting this at 4:57 AM, but you wouldn't know that without having to do a conversion in your head or on the internet!

Anarchid are you saying that the lobby could use the same function it uses for the chat to post timestamps, and stick that same value into the mouseover box?
