The current lobby is kinda weird compared to other RTS lobbies, and much less good looking. So, lets talk about that.

Talking points:

-How to make the lobby easier for nubs

-How to make the lobby pretty

My suggestion:

I think the lobby would look much cooler if all the unnessesairy buttons, toolbars, ect are killed. I made a quick MS paint mockup of what that might look like:

Your mockup is even more cluttered than the current lobby, and your sections are divided up awkwardly.

You did not had to start new thread, there are already some, but yes i agree with a basic idea.
As i said many times, current lobby is ugly and can discourage many people from this otherwise grat game.
Current lobby is fuzzy (game as regular channel??) and ugly.
I wanted to spend some time on that http://zero-k.info/Forum/Thread/9155 but i have everyday job now.
