As Dante is way too accurate it should fire its heatrays in random 360 spread and have its missiles removed to be in line with goli flamer removal. This way it would be better suited for its role of metal delivery.

Dante counters almost everything except dedicated anti heavy (golly, skuttle etc) and larger striders.

Its only weakness is lower hp:cost than most assault units.

I never enjoy facing them (I think they are usually more dangerous than golly + 1 reaper) but I dont feel they are overwelming either.

dies horribly to porc, isnt really an assault (you dont want to spend 3500 metal to kill a a stinger or two)

Killing porc and heavies is Goliath's thing though. Dante excels at a lot of other things.

Yea. That is why i never use Dante. Its too weak in lategame. I prefer then one Bantha then 3 Dantes. Even troll com can kill it with one d gun sttack. As scorpion can kill dante too. At close ranga dante melts most units, bet when appear units like racketeer they loose. Scorpion at least have cloak.. However in midgame it can be very powerful unit who melts bombers, melts tanks and other stuff. However it dies to porc too fast. main problem isnt dante in most game but players who dont use counter options available. So if you build dante then need think that is that worth. But napalm missiles salvo i like. Often its only way for to dante survive. Even with its uber grill gun. Dante most annoying abilitu is its flamethrower who burning all around and even dante and makes hardly to cvounter it with infis middle combat.

Real thread or no -

Dante seems in a good place to me. It's got enough impact for you to viably rush it out, but does fall off hard if the game state progresses or your opponent scouts it and reacts appropriately. Nothing else in the fac has the immediate impact required paired with a pricetag that's doable before late game.
