Very strange indeed. When I try to start a mission, i get: "Download of Tutorial - Running Start r383 failed.". If I select a map and the game actually starts to load, it freezes at 10% loading weapons definitions (i think that is what it said). A few clues are

1. It started after I updated to the new lobby.
2. I just updated to windows 10.
3. Another open source game, Warzone 2100, is also broken.
4. All other games on my system work fine with steam.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My guess would be drivers. Try updating them.

Remove whole zero-k and spring files from whole computer (normally simple ''uninstall'' woudl work, but spring games dont come with these, afaik). Then reinstall. I had a problem with a couple of games after upgrading from Win7 to Win10 too. Reinstalling fixed the problem in all cases.

thanks for the advice. I have already tried all of that before this post. However, I did find the problem, thanks to application logs and a google search. It turns out that the offending application was playstv. As soon as I uninstalled playstv from my system, the games work again. Thanks for trying to help anyways!

I also had to reinstall zero-k after lobby update and now everything works fine. New lobby is better than old btw.

There was unrelated server issue apparently, which caused missing games, disconnects etc.
