every time i play and every time i lose or win i feel like no climax, the game just shuts down.

how about give the losing team each one banthas/detriment/krow/NOCOST for one minunte?

That way I WOULD LOVE TO LOSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So when would you hand out the Bantha (and to who)? When all allied forces are defeated? What happens when the Bantha owner(s) actually start winning, would the other team also get Banthas? Wouldn't that just artificially prolong each game by turning it into a Bantha vs Bantha matchup and quickly become very stale?

Call me old-fashioned, but I just think that encouraging players to lose is a bad idea.

It already exists:

Otherwise you can force your exact wish by queuing an overweight unit. You'll lose terrain but shortly before losing the game your overweight unit will be completed and you can try to retake the lost game.

If you just want to have fun, go on a private host and enable cheats. You can do whatever fun rules you want now.

Before ppl start to demand higher OD at high energies, I'd like to say that singu and fusion cost reduction is the better option as I already said when high OD was nerfed, because increasing the OD coefficient would also buff low energy OD even more. Using ATrankhokomoko 's OD principle would be even better, though.

Now that I know most of how things used to work I've given up on OD buffs. Hoko's system would only improve maps with low metal mexes like koom gorge, hide and seek and adamantine mountain, and for maps like drab it'd be a nerf.

I'm all for making endgame stuff cheaper though. (not including bantha and lower, however)

On the other hand I don't think any of that is relevant to this nonsensical thread.

I think that's a bad idea, Bantha has 36000 Hp and lots of damage from it Tachyon accellerator.
Hard to kill, and seems like a perfect way to really screw games over, as it gives an incentive to lose, not to win.

I disagree in interfering with the game at any point, but maybe the actual end screens could be more climatic, a more obvious rewarding result. ie "This player win" *streamers and cheers* (but not that corny). A bigger clafication of result.

Actually, from time to time there is a battle after which i have to check the battle page, cuz ive got no idea who won.
Matbe pospone the battle for 15-20 seconds after resignig instead of throwing summary window at my face instantly, and mąkę the lost units do something fancy instead of just exploding?
Losers commanders and/or some units could e.g. retreat to mothership, just like latecommers coms drop, but the other way.

Nominate a MVP user?

Though awards kinda do it already i think.

I was thinking of intros at some time in the past with regard to PW.

Planets invaded after fresh bombings would show animations of attacker space weapons destroying the exact structures that were bombed; Defenses would shoot down dropships and bombers that failed to get past. Garrisons and similar buildings would blow up after a lost fight.

I will not mąkę the lost units thank you very much Failer. That is a desacration of bodies and is punishable by law.

Allow the winners to leave the game whenever they want. (normal win screen)

but allow the losers a fun time destroying victor team bases for one minute each losing player with their own banthas......

call it the defeated's banthas dro

I really hope I am being trolled by some people.

Do you have any idea how sad and painful it is to have a pop up "YOU LOSE" screen and then have to wait for a new game?
I am suggesting some extra fun and incentive for the losing team to continue to play our game called ZEROK.

If none of you understand what i am saying, then this place really is dead. (probably because i am the only loser player here still)

I don't see how giving an arbitrary set of units would make losing any more fun.

You still didn't answer who would control said units either.

If I wanted to smash things I would be playing against CAI on a map with a lot of metal and spam striders instead of playing PvP games. Which I highly recommend if you don't find the PvP in ZK enjoyable.

USrankBatman I don't think you are being trolled (or at least, as much as you think). I think this thread is closely related to people's reaction to a losing player resigning when they have clearly lost. Some people get annoyed by their opponent resigning because it denies them the reward of assaulting and blowing up their final base. Other people are annoyed by their opponent non resigning because they do not want to play games where the winner has already been decided.

Many competitive games have adopted a resign culture instead of a culture of letting the winner destroy your base. Perhaps playing a game for a while makes you lose interest in blowing up bases just for the sake of it. Also, competitive games may just attract people who would much rather play the part of the game where the outcome is uncertain than the victory march at the end.

I think I can understand wanting to go on a victory march. The extra confusing thing here is that you are suggesting a defeat march. Doesn't that mess up the incentive to win?

If we're trying to maximize marching and blowing stuff up how about the following proposal? After a game has run for 30 minutes we would desync the game. The desync takes the form of every player receiving a Bantha while their opponents appear to recieve no Banthas. Now all players can go on a victory march through their opponents base. Perhaps this could be initialized by resigning but why should that be the case? USrankBatman I'd like to know if there is actually anything wrong with this idea.

My first reply :::
"
yes! YES ! YES!

EVRYONE GETS A BANTHAS!
EVERYONE WINS!
Googlefrog is best!
(also why not just do this at the end of every game?, no 30 minutes or time limits or anything like that, just if people want to banthas everything in sight let them)"

My second reply::

I want to make a positive game experience for the people who lose. I want some sort of revenge by the losing team against the winning team.

Think of it more as the ultimate challenge for the winning team, sure it will be impossible most of the time, but imagine of the winning team actually wins twice in the same game?

I don't know how to do it, but it should not alter gameplay in any way. Imagine the current game end, but after the "credits" appear, for 1 minute banthas are controlled by the losing team.

make a button next to credits ::::::::: PLAY SECOND WAVE::::::::

both the losing team (which controls the banthas one per player)
and the winning team (which control their base)
for one additional minute of gameplay.
