So, what's a trollcom?

PTrankraaar was manning one, and from what I can deduce it is a:

Commander made for combat
Has a damn powerful gun
Is not meant to build anything
Is strong
Fast (optional)
Can tank huge amounts of damage
Can deal huge amounts of damage
Repairs itself

And why are they called trollcoms, is a combat com unacceptable?
Are these definitions correct

Not necessarily. They can also be used to build porc right in the enemy's base. They may also have support modules like area shield or area cloaker or radar jammer to indirectly improve their ability to build things under adverse conditions or to build things stealthily. (such as missile silos in the corner)

Basically any com above level 3 is a trollcom, because if you dump that much metal into it chances are you'll be using it to troll the enemy in some way.

Trollcom is not meant to tank in the frontline. This is a battle/combat/tank/whatever com.

Trollcom uses troll techniques to troll your enemies. E.G a sniper with 8 range, 8 dmg, and a cloak module.
Or a Jumpy cloak com which will sneak close to your puppy unit ball regrouping behind front line, wreck them with hellfire granades, or whatever, supported by 8 dmg modules and jump away to dissapear few seconds later.
Or a cloaked support com with 8 nano modules which can, provided it Has enough storaged metal, erect a DDM right in front of your face out od nowhere, in less than 20 sec.

Tank com can be a troll one too, but it needs sth trollish. The easiest way to do it is to simply give it 8 range modules.

It just means you're committing resources towards your com at the expense of everything else. Typically proactively and regardless of context. You're trying to make your com a fundamental aspect of your game-plan.

It's called troll com because one of the teams is going to be trolled. Usually your own, but once in a blue moon it's theirs.

If u spend a reasonable amount of metal on rasonable build of com, why not?
Some builds worth 4, 4.5k can counter a Dante. In teamgame such com, supported by other players, will make a difference most of the times.

If your counter costs a similar/larger amount compared to the unit being countered and losing it means also losing 4M per sec (which over the next 5 minutes is 1200M more), it's not much of a counter.

Its not a skuttle. It can kill also other things. Add 80 metal to 80 and ultimately itd mąkę cost. Also its fun to use your own unique custom unit. And its fun we play for most of the times. Even if it doesnt make cost.

Lol trollcoms

What if, say, your splitting the metal for the com to upgrade, is it a trollcom?

I still think trollcoms are useful
