How to track players online over time?

Do i need to leave chobby open for 24 hours with an auto screenshot program grabbing a shot of the "players online" every ten minutes to get an idea of peak player times?

Is there a better way already available?

  • RDP into server and install a logger. Make sure to do it via one of the magic IPs, the firewall is racist.
  • Set admin auth and you'll see the plot of daily activity here(Only 1 day resolution):
  • Poll zero-k.info for "XX players online: Y of them fighting in Z battles"

Those all seem a lot easier than using OCR on images. (Although that's a good skill for writing nearly undetectable MMO bots)
