Question about using the spring lobbies

Is there a way to change the graphics settings in the games, when played through the spring lobby? It seems like all the games are set to high end graphics with no way to change them.

I know the game called "The Cursed" has a windows installer?, doesn't work on my Linux, even with wine.

I do use chobby when playing ZK, very nice lobby, with graphics control.

Thx,

Springlobby has a menu for engine settings. Besides many other things you can set the graphics quality there. I'll post a screenshot when I get back to my PC.

Generally all the lobbies do is provide a graphical interface for editing the springsettings.cfg file in your spring folder. You can also edit it manually by following the documentation. Keep in mind some lobbies will simply overwrite that file.

Edit: Can't get springlobby to not crash on launch. Have you tried weblobby?

Doesn't chobby still let you play non-zk games on the old spring server if you set the right mode in the settings?

Yes Chobby could work but you need to use a config file, and a separate (and clean) install from ZK so there aren't any conflicts.

I thought Spring Web lobby had graphics settings?

The cursed builds:

Place in your .spring/games or weblobby games folder.

Thx Vermind, I do have that .sdz file for the cursed, I was just hoping for a cool UI like ZK has.

I do have weblobby working, and I do see how to edit the engine settings, it just looks long and complicated, it would be nice to have some presets instead of diving into the heart of the engine. :)

USrankDuffmaN now that you've downloaded the game, you should be able to play it in Zero-K's lobby (Chobby) as well. Go to settings->developer->singleplayer and select generic. In multiplayer you can select your mod using

!password something
!type blub
!game [insert game rapid tag]
!password

(The first two commands are needed to enable the !game command, thecursed's rapid tag doesn't seem to work in ZK multiplayer)
