I saw shaman as you used roach and valk and it was very informative. But the cost incurred in the end is higher.

Will say this though, domi ball every game today has been... sub-entertaining.

Maybe it's that its constantly on the scene? Dunno.

Normally I love roach bombing, but I don't like being forced to use it to counter some shielded domis. (Also gets countered by a single felon cuz felons instahit which is meh)

Artillery works vs domis. Pillagers, tremors, firewalker, cata, penetrators.
Cheap unit spam like dirtbags and fleas can make serious headaches for domi troll.
Spam construction nanos around if they threatening your porc.
Roaches can do pretty fast job with them and with small cost.
Silo missiles.
And if you already allowed enemy make domis ball who you cant counter then problem isn't in domis but in your early game strategy.
I have seen few games who was won with domis. They are costly - 420 metalz. Plus not very much hit points and very bad at maneuvering.

If you're tired of snitch express, how about Thunderbird? Likho? Merlin? Phantom? Lance? Cyclops? Recluse? There are so many options.

I mean, sure, Domi is scary, but i doubt the supposed team meta of shielded cloaked domi spam every game is sustainable in the face of competent opposition. Just a single Iris plus Aspis is already over 1k investment. If you have several shields and more than four domis, that's a Krow

I know how to counter domi, but when a player has started the game with a fac, he has to spend 1000 of metal to make gs or air or spider, etc., I think that instead 420 metal to build domi is very little compared to the results that can get 3 or 4 together (sumo or as it is called costs 1700 metal).
so especially at the beginning of a game it would be more difficult to spam these units. So we also lower the cost of sumo or grizzly metal, so you get spam too, it would be a lot more fun!

If you are dealing with an early game domi then consider fhat for one domi you get 10 darts, 21 flea, or 7 glaives. Where is your god now?

wait lets make it easier:

Cloaky: Sniper, massive glaive attack like 50+, scythes like 10+
Shields: Racketeers, Roaches (they cloak when not moved), D-Bag attack followed by 20+bandits
Hovers: Penetrator, 15+Hallberts
Rovers: Wolverine spam (so underused...)
Heavy tanks: Tremor, Emissari (pillager if the name is wrong...), when the ball isn't too big then even golli
Jumpies: Firewalker, 10+jacks (i know they cost alot, and some will get captured, but the other will kill the domi that captured them and they will again be yours), skuttle (but carefull this can go wrong)
Spiders: crabe, recluses, 50+ fleas (this needs the domis to be unprotected
Air: Thunder, mass bombers (area bomb command), likho, even massive phoenix attack can work (wow domis are so bad, they can be beaten by the worst unit in the game)
Gs: blastshit spam get yourself 5 rounds of 15+ blastwings = 10 dommis dead, also brawlers, and when there arent to many domis, krow can work

Hm seems beating domis is cheaper then getting cloaked or shielded 10+ domi ball.

Also guys, if you are in a bigger teamgame and need to build a secend fac to counter something, you litteraly failed already. This is still a TEAMgame. In those very popular 12+people games there are 6 facs on each side at least...
If you can't counter 1 shit tactic... You deserve to loose...

I dislike the dominatrixes.

Consider a dominatrix ball which costs about 4k

1 aegis ~500
4 dominatrixes ~1600
4 thugs, 3 outlaws ~1500
5-6 vandals ~500

(it could start being a nuisance at half the cost, though)


- the outlaws prevent you from overruning it with fast close range units, so most of Anir's "overrun it with spam of X" would fail, they help the vandals kill bombers too

- fights with dominatrixes snowball even harder than with slow/stun/disarm units: instead of getting your units crippled they're added to the enemy, which means your aoe units may kill your own army, which means you're wrecked unless you engage with a vastly superior force

- they're particularly effective against slow, short-ranged and high hp/cost units - the good "tank" units - which means they counter most assaults hard. They also counter cheap front line pop-up defenses very hard

- the model is short and they need a clear line of fire (this makes them less reliable than they could be so they're also annoying to the user, not just the enemy)

- besides the shield units, they have potentially broken combos with thunderbird or other low dps units with slow like harpies, moderators and commanders disruptor bomb

Sounds like perfect food for all those shield ball counters we've developed since they were in meta. Bomb it, arty it, roach it and sumo it. 4k is a lot of metal.

I've hardly seen any successful (shield) balls recently. There are just too many hard counters.

That ball gets cooked by one Thunderbird and a few glaives. Or a Likho if you dont wanna bother with second fac. Or 2 Lance/Phantom. At least for half cost in both situations. Or 16 Ravagers, for cost. Did you know that 4k metal is 16 Ravagers?
