How about if all turrets would explode powerfully when destroyed the bigger the turret the bigger the boom.

eg. llt and mt explode do about enough damage to kill a raider in a tiny radius (short enough that glaive can kill them without dying.

HLT would have a roach like explosion.

Emp turret would be like a tick.

All the huge turrets tacnuke.

The idea being that porcy forts can be chainsploded if too many turrets are built in a small area.

I'd rather just make a general balance change to all artillery, making it better against statics and worse against units.

Precisely, Rada's idea would allow dev to nerf somewhat the arty because assault would become indirectly stronger against porc. And no more problems with arty being anti-all.

And it's more entertaining/more engaging to have your assault units trying to blow up a porc base than lazingly waiting for enhanced arty to kill statics.

I don't see how "make porc chainsplode" buffs assaults (which are likely to take damage from the explosions) any more than it buffs arty (which can trigger chainsplosions at safe distance)>

You are right, both are buffed but if you must choose between which one should be favorised as a player's choice, imo assault should be the one.

The trend of larger explosions for larger turrets mostly exists already. Stardust is balanced to be particularly good at taking out raiders when it dies.
