Phantom accuracy in fog of war -- where's the sight cache?

Heya.

Time and time again, my phantoms will miss whenever targeting a unit that's moving out of vision. Doesn't matter the unit's been in fog for .5 seconds nor at .01 seconds. It guarantees a miss. And that's with auto-fire turned off.

It ends up being pretty annoying -- especially when targeting a painfully slow commander that's clearly moving in a straight line.

Is there anything that can be done to prevent this from happening besides force firing on the ground on specific targets? Would it be possible to have a gradual wobble rather than an instant wobble?

keep vision of your target. radar dots wobble around for a reason.

use a cloaked scout like a cloakybuilder or cloaky-AA (on holdfire)

Unit AI sucks!
I agree if unit was recently in direct sight other's targetting should -gradually- decline to a radar state not instantly(maybe something like exponentially speeding up interpolation between the last known position from direct sight and radar dot over a second or couple of seconds)...

Increase your rating by 300 points with this simple trick:

The engine stores radar wobble as a property of units, not as a property of unit+allyTeam, so this is currently not possible with a simple change.

Put unit on hold fire and try force fire at point on terrain where you estimate the unit is you want to hit .Or wait for line of sight to re-appear . The diplomats have the same problem with radar targets , you need los or they miss . Or as mentioned in previous post send scout
