I reported you because of your toxic behaviour.

I forgive you though.

No amount of raging in allcaps is going to make the admins think it is a good idea to share the identity of reporters with you.

I suggest you instead reflect on why it was you were warned and adjust your behaviour so an incident of this kind does not occur again.

Well, looking at the actual warning message seems like an obvious thing to do in this instance:

quote:
Warning: Sharing that is designed to cause strife is not on. B990942

In battle 990942 you deliberately shared your units to an inexperienced player on the far side of the map before resigning in order to cause problems for your team. Do not do this or other things to deliberately cause problems for your team in the future.

And for the record, responding to a warning with a bunch of screaming in allcaps, demanding information you are not entitled to, and demonstrating zero willingness to improve your behaviour or even engage in a reasonable conversation is likely to result in the moderators not bothering to warn you in future before issuing more direct modaction, since you have clearly demonstrated it is a waste of our time and patience to do so.

Btw I found this message hard to understand too. And I consider my english level to be well above average for non native speaker.

I think admins should use messages that are easy to understand for non native speakers(use less idioms, use simpler words) - this would benefit everyone.

Remember zk is a multilingual community and everyone's english level is different.

Similar acts shall be written in game rules as not recommended. It is causing troubles team games, I once found a player failed on top and transfered all units to me. Though it was my fault not offering enough support as I'm not a skilled player who can play large map.

Indeed, seems like a mistake, my interpretation giving the context is "Warning: Sharing that is designed to cause strife is not acceptable, on B990942".

In a similar fashion maybe the first 3 posts in this thread also contain some mistypes, and what was meant was "Can you please help me understand this message, so that I avoid such behavior in the future".

I btw now understand why admins don't want to use mute sometimes and just ban :D
Should'a banned me for 1 day instead lol, because u'are also punishing the team I'm in ^_^

On the good side I spammed zk forum with some ideas and issues today, hopefully zk will get a bit better and less buggy if someone tackles those :P

GBrankczesio you unfortunately mishandled this opportunity to raise valid criticism by doing so in the worst possible manner. Not only did you make yourself look like nothing more than a snobby entitled brat, you also made it entirely unpalatable to side with you on this manner.

quote:
FROM NOW NO I WONT TO SEE ALL REPORTS ANDOR ACCUSATIOTONS

This is a good time to point out that reports are anonymous for a reason. The social dynamics of a report are important to the social wellbeing of the community. Raising an indirect complaint is necessary when direct complaints to the person fall on deaf ears or are preceived to fall on deaf ears. A good example of the latter happening is the way you handle complaints from other members of the community in regard to your singularity reactor placement. I don't know how many times I've personally told you to spread them out more so they don't go boom at the same time but this comment seems to have fallen through the cracks, so I'm far more likely to bring up complaints indirectly than directly to you. Others beside me have also told you to spread them out to no avail so why would we directly tell you "hey, giving units to a noob on the other side of the map aint cool"? This is where the reports being not shown to the perpetrator is important. Retaliation (socially) may occur if they were shown to the person being reported, especially those with a personality like yourself GBrankczesio.

For the record I did not write this particular warning message, and I agree that it makes non-ideal usage of idiomatic English.

That being said, I think it is fairly easy to infer what the warning is about from the fact that it IS a warning and contains the strings

quote:
Sharing that is designed to cause strife

quote:
B990942

even if someone is unfamiliar with the "not on" idiom, and I find it hard to believe that GBrankczesio made a good faith attempt to understand this warning and failed due to poor grasp of the English language.
