How I hate the blunt balance with fencer rush, which cannot be countered in any way

You spent 800m on Hermits when Randy started attacking. I will observe that a Stinger is cheaper and would stop Fencers in a rush scenario. But of course it wasn't a rush scenario. So you shouldn't call it a rush.

The game didn’t even leave the debut stage, Randy just stood on my spot and closed it with a bunch of fencers, what are we talking about?

A rush is a type of strategy where the player attempts to reach some milestone of capability before it would be typically expected, often by sacrificing some opportunities.

In this game Randy opened with a really typical expansion, sacrificing nothing. Fencers are not the first combat unit he makes and not even the second or third. They enter the field in no great hurry. This is not a "fencer rush", regardless of whether you hate it or not, or whether you die to it or not. It's just a normal early-midgame fencer push, albeit a rather aggressive one.

I would very much like to find out whether rushes can be a thing in top10 1v1 zk in 2021. You saying that a thing is a rush when it isn't disappoints me because i open the replay to see the rush and it is not a rush.
