I made a point in #ZK here regarding this:

Pootis both knew the answer to your question.
2.) Every
other spectator in that match was using specchat BUT you.
3.) Asking a question to players as a spectator and expecting an answer from them is disrespectful to them.
4.) The same question was asked in specchat, and answered after you were kicked.
That said, I do not think spectators should be on all chat at all in public games unless they're doing something productive (EG: assisting in technical difficulties). We don't need ESPN-like commentary from specs polluting all chat creating distractions and making it harder for coordination to occur.
