How to add construction to queue in a way that makes the least travel time

I though shift space added construction to queue wherever it makes least travel time, but it doesn't seem to work. It just works the same as space and makes the newly added thing number 1 wherever it is. Was this feature removed or am I missing something?

Check that your keyboard supports shift and space at the same time.
