Play former version

Is there a possibility to downgrade or download Zero-K v1.10.11.1 to play in single-mode? Background is a bug that ocurs in many games I play. So, while hoping for a bug-fix, I thought I could use the previous version...
- I think, I'd need a donload link for that former version
- Then I'd need to suppress the upgrade/disconnect from internet
- ... and then... Would it work or not...?

Would it even be possible to play with a friend (e.g. via direct network/IP adress maybe) with an older version?

Partial answer: if you have a replay with the right version, watching it will get it downloaded.

Can you send infolog.txt to see why you would need a former version?

If it is engine then the rapid tag zkmenu:stable and an engine string would put you on an old engine. See https://zero-k.info/mediawiki/index.php?title=Zero-K:Developing#Zero-K.exe_launch_flags

The engine would most likely be 105.1.1-841-g099e9d0

I'll try this out, thank you. In the meantime I wanted to paste the log, but I failed on pastebin
("This page is no longer available. It has either expired, been removed by its creator, or removed by one of the Pastebin staff. ")

, and this forum here throws an SQL error (no matter if I reduce to 2000 lines); Discord is no option for me...

I tried out, but with ./Zero-K.bin.x86_64 zkmenu:stable 105.1.1-841-g099e9d0 I have two other problems:
1) I can't build units (buildings can be built)
2) in a factory I can see all units - even those one that I have not yet gained by any mission

Do I need to clear some kind of cache?

At the same time I played the newest version, which works a bit better than before, but finally I had the same fault like before (I already reported it in https://zero-k.info/Forum/Thread/35913)

I'd be glad to share the infolog.txt with you, but I can't (don't know why - 2 tools - the forum and pastebin as well have issues with this file; Discord is no option for me)

That sounds like a different sort of crash. Upload an infolog for your initial issue.

GoogleFrog, is there an actual answer to this question? I mean, is it possible to launch not simply an older engine, but an older version of the game itself? This could be useful for many reason, even if just playing an older version for fun.

Well you can checkout any version you like from GitHub and play all of singleplayer with it. In multiplayer you can type something like '!game Zero-K v 1.10.11.1' and it should switch the room to it. But you'll also need to switch to an appropriate engine.

would be a cool feature, if the lobby would have an UI for that or does the correct downloads for version/engine for older replays for the user (or does it? i never tried)
