forticulus 22 months ago Hi, I just realized the graphics of the game is broken. Wether fulscreen or borderless fullscren doesnt follow win+d for desktop. Running on windows with i9 and nVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. How to fix? o/ forti +1 / -0

forticulus 22 months ago (edited 22 months ago) no, alt+tab doesn't give me the desktop or start menu to start any app. it only shows running apps. that's why i usually use win+d to run programms i just need. +0 / -0
GoogleFrog 22 months ago Being hard to tab out of was an issue a few months ago. It is fixed now. Perhaps check that your game is updated. What version game is shown in skirmish, and what engine is under Help -> Report a Bug? +0 / -0

forticulus 22 months ago Hi, zero-k v1.10.12.2 spring engine 105.1.1-1393-gfffa38b BAR105 64-bit I think the game updates itself on every start? for a long time i had graphics issues starting the lobby client. there were shown a windows border on top. i had to open settings, graphics and switch the settings (fullscreen) back and forth, then the client will show correctly. i had to redownload the whole portable installation from scratch and to merge my game settings w/o any graphics settings into the new installation. now i have again this border issue and additionally that i cannot minimize the game. o/ forti +0 / -0

TeknicalMage 22 months ago Had that issue and numerous others w/ my 3080ti. Reinstalled Drivers, reinstalled game after nuking folder and problems stopped. +0 / -0
forticulus 22 months ago if i reinstall game (as portable install, download client and download all content) i have to transfer a lot of manual settings from the former install to the new. that really really sucks. if i just copy the cfg files i might copy the issue from old install to the new if its just a setting. also (i already did this some weeks ago) if its a wrong setting it will reappear soon. +0 / -0
