Currently whenever a minotaur is brought into a fight, it only aims its barrels once within enemy range. Sometimes that takes a couple seconds.. but sometimes never, eg if you're simultaneously microing with kiting clicky clicky.

I propose: minotaurs should point at their target regardless of whether they're in range.

What you're proposing is look ahead for minotaur. This is a one line change.

Add:

aim_lookahead = 200,

to tankassault's unit customParams. Change this value until you're happy with the results then PR it. Theoretically you can do this with tweak units, I think.

This is pretty much an issue with all assaults, it's just most notable on Minotaur.

A bit of aim lookahead would be a fine change. It should be minimal though, because it can cause issues with aiming beyond its range while there are poor targets in range. Experiment to find some reasonable minimal values, then PR?
