I'm not going to be suggesting this update because I know how to do it, I'm suggesting it because I think it is an interesting update concept-wise. I will refrain from talking about how easy or hard it is to implement, but I will request others to not call this update "impossible to implement."

I think that it would be cool if different types of maps had different energy sources. Some energy sources could damage anything that uses energy, others just damage the generators. Some energy sources are volatile, others are unreliable. Some energy sources can be used to power up unit damage, some would slow every unit down. The point of the new energy sources is less to change the mechanics, and more so to explore the different ways energy could be produced, and the minor ways it influences technology. [Spoiler]
